This was first observed when sandals and pajama pants brcame “in vogue” at Loves and Pilot truck stops. Then there was a huge ICE scare. This resulted in the practice to follow each other, at speed, with the least possible gap between vehicles. Next, came the conversion to automatic transmissions. This eliminated the confusion to understand the shift pattern on the shift knobs. It is a good day on the road…..just stay out of thier way!
