Personally, I view this as good news. This locomotive has a little bit of history in that she was built new for Sugar Pine Lbr. Co. @ Pinedale, CA and was the 4th of this type on the roster. She is slightly different than the other 3 were in that she had larger water capacity and more weight on the drivers. After Sugar Pine ran out of timber in the 30's and went belly up, she ended up @ Scotia as #37 for Pacific Lbr. Co. and was on the property into the mid-60's. Hopefully, the economy will straighten out and folks up in Humboldt County can work together to get some sort of tourist operation around the Bay going.
