Even Paranoid's have enemies? And, the subversion of language is not an ideological condition of a particular stripe?

All this sensitivity and the "confessions" of those people with handles really are it a bit too much of a reaction to the discovery that people use anonymouse handles to disseninate their opinions, and often even outright nonsense. Did you ever take a look at the names of campaign committee's on commercials? It's been going on since writing was invented, as best as I can tell?

It wasn't an accusation per se that our editor made, he simply shared with us a piece of factual news that largely confirmed what most of us already suspected anyway? And, he raised an interesting question about handles and how they are used. But I try not to label or diagnose people without a good reason, or at least I try not to prejudge peoples motives from such very limited information. I've seen this tactic used by all types of people, of all stripes, for all kinds of reasons, good and bad. The Federalist Papers were all written by guys with handles, too.

It's interesting that most of the kinds of arguments I've seen used resorting to these kinds of tactics speak for themselves, and in the end, they don't make much difference, if they are not based on fact. But, if you want RR insiders sharing some of the information you've been lucky enought to be exposed to, you are well served by the current policy. I think a lot of the Novato stuff was nonsense and disinformation, but I like to know what those goofy arguments are, too? Sometimes they do point to real problems.

We can all agree to disagree or agree based upon the merits of what they have to report, and you can always think for yourself and decide, regardless of the handle somebody else chooses to use, can't you? I know several anonymous posters on this site who are RR insiders, and those people could be in a position to stop posting, and I would miss their insights, as well. I like freedom and hate to lose it, so maybe it is a selfish mundane form of paranoia on my own part?
