Two quick points.

American Railcar is trying to restart Colorado Railcar.

In these economic times, can someone explain to me why a public agency would buy a DMU at $6.4 million per car for 96 seats, verus a locomotive hauled train costing $6.4 million for 280 seats? Just to claim it looks nicer?
