The BNSF/NS merger will soon become a reality.In fact BNSF is hiring engineers out of Norris Hump Yard in Birmingham,AL.The merger will happen soon after the NS/KCS merger. BNSF plans to be the first western railroad company of the west to reach markets in the alabama district and points further along the east coast.There's a rumor that union pacific is going to purchace CSX in the future.These acts will further the sad realization of a one railroad country.
