Don't worry about contradicting me---I was just going from memory on what I had read in Charles Smallwood's and other books about the MUNI and the MSRy.

As a side bar to this, the outer set (MUNI's) of tracks was still under the pavement near Geary and Market when they started BARTD construction as I have some photos of them pulling up and cutting sections of it. Why I didn't ask for some pieces is beyond me.
