Railroad torpedo

I vote for cherry bomb, for each.

A string of them, side-by-side, would really hurt.

For the younger, they are about 2" square by about 1/2" thick, tapered to the edges.

Dark red.

Attached to rail head by two lead strips.

I've heard one detonation.

Road power at full throttle would probably require multiple torpedoes; comments, please.
SP cab forward crews would sure hear them.

Yard conductor wasn't watching for anything on the rail heads.
