Thanks for your thoughtfulnes, Ed. It was pretty sudden, and no one was really prepared for that. He was certainly seldom at a loss for a story or off-color gag! It had been years since he'd mentioned that trip, and this topic brought it to mind. Hopefully, I got the story right, but my mind tells me the part about the body isn't quite right.
By the way, I've inherited all his slides, movies and negatives. All are well protected indoors, along with my own and I'm working on getting some stuff together for a showing at OET. I'd hoped to get it ready for Sept. 12, but I've used up all my leave and vacation days for the year. April swap meet looks a lot better. I'd like his collection to be accessable to all, but it's not catalogued well enough at this point to instantly find something. Let me know if there is something you'd like to get a copy of- It's not that difficult to find things, just a little time-consuming as I usually get stuck on some envelope of negatives that wasn't part of the original search! I also have all the issues of Timepoints when he was editor.
