I can't help but wonder if the horrible running times between Portland & Eugene are partly responsible for the low ridership. If Ewe - Pee ever finishes their seemingly endless ' trackwork ' , perhaps Amtrak / ODOT could then market a reliable service using all rail instead of a bus substitution. Sad thing though, the bus makes better time than the train !!!
