The Deadwood, Black Hills & Western did lease the old crew ready room as an office for a while but as far as I know never did have the roundhouse leased (I have been wrong before so nothing would surprise me). As far as I know there is no rolling stock inside. I only get that way occasionally but if I do I will try to find out what's inside.
As far as I know the Deadwood, Black Hills & Western is a dead deal as the court ruled that the C&NW right of way between Whitewood and Deadwood was reversionary and thus owned by the current adjacent landowners (who don't want to sell). Quite a tragedy too as Deadwood keeps growing and parking can become a real issue, the train could have brought many people in (without their cars) to enjoy the town and the many activities.
