Maybe it's because I'm tired, but I didn't follow the replies to the 1600 post. Is the BNSF 1600 now a privately owned locomotive undergoing restoration? (If not it ought to be) And if it is privatly owned, any idea who owns the unit?? It definatly deserves better that a green goat or a gen-set conversion. Maybe if it's historic it can avoid emissions modifications and we can continue to enjoy the sounds of a 567C and a Nathan horn together for years to come. Ah yes the sounds of SP geeps and cadillacs are dancing in my head. Oh uh, sorry need a nap.
