I dont think the article was refering to BNSF 1600. It was parked there but I havent seen it lately, and I drive by there 4 times a day.

What about the unit painted in SP Black Widow colors? It came North with the Private Rail car convention couple years ago if I remember right and they had problems enroute.

But I noticed recently the SP Logo on the front of the locomotive is missing.

Who owns this unit? It has been at CEECO for quite awhile and hasnt moved.
