I appreciate the replies on this.

Here is the link if you want to see a picture of the truck/trailer and expansion joint.

This is for the 2nd Tacoma Narrows Bridge project.

A little off topic but think interesting. I would think they could put this on flat car(s) and ship over here then only have a short distance by truck to the bridge..

I wonder how much it costing to ship this via truck vs rail?

It is parked at the WA/Idaho border along I-90. As the owner of the trucking company said.."We don't have a problem, just build the bridge in Idaho"
