From what I read, sounds like company that arranged for the shipment and the trucking company involved are in hot water.
Moves like this happen all the time with very little problems: When done by companies that specialize in heavy movements. The trucking company involved is a boat mover. So reading between the lines the company responsible for shipping it wanted to save money, they approached this company who said sure no problem we can do it.
Evidence of this is their states about they built a custom trailer and stopped in another stated and added 4 more axles and such.
Does not sound like this is a professionaly setup move at all.
