RR Couldn't move this

If I'm looking at the picture in the story correctly, it looks like the upper part of the joint is too wide to be hauled by rail. I belive their are tunnels along the SP&S Line, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't fit in any of them.

My vote is for barge :)
