The easiest way to go is to enter ALL 96 channels into your scanner--I used to work in K.C. and every railroad there has its own set of freqs and will change the use of each channel on a semi-regular basis. What was a road channel last month will become a yard channel next month--on and on. And what is used in the West Bottoms won't be used on the East Side of K.C. An N.S. train in its yard will use one channel-go to another while on KCT tracks, go to another when on BNSF track--always changing.
