Technically speaking, Leavenworth is STILL on the Scenic Subdivision ; i.e. - A CTC controlled siding 7905 feet long. I believe Dick is referring to the fact the mainline no longer goes through the heart of town; rather it skirts the North East side about a mile from downtown.
