There is no payphone at the LWA station. Also, it does not look like they are building a sidewalk on the road into town.

Also, it's not clear that the Amtrak thruway station (LEA) and the new Amtrak icicle station (LWA) are in two different places. Some people in wikipedia are looking to delete the Leavenworth (Amtrak Thruway Motorcoach station) article because it's not "notable" or nobody wrote a newspaper article stating that a fun trip from Seattle might include a bus on the return leg.

From Spokane, leave early in the morning on the Empire Builder and leave at 8:00pm (not bad).
