SF Bay Area Whistle Blow

There is a planned opportunity for anyone with a steam whistle to bring it to a place in Oakland and sound it off on steam. If you have a steam whistle, you know how much better it sounds on steam than on air.

I am posting this to see if there is any interest in holding such an event. IF you are interested in bringing a whistle, or merely attending to hear many other whistles, please speak up. If there is no interest, there planned event will not include this function.

There will be a small fee to sound off whistles, and all proceeds will go to the restoration of vintage steam equipment.

The tentative date for this steam up is November 14.

Again, please speak up if you are interested.
