I was aboard the trip.
We left LA at 8:01 a.m. and arrived Barstow around noon (others aboard will have stories later).
Our conductor, was Marti Ann Draper, Vice-President of Pacific Railroad Society and an Amtrak conductor.
We left late from Barstow and arrived LA at 9:05 p.m.
Everyone aboard from what I saw had a good time and I had wonderful discussions with old friends, etc.
Here is the consist: Genesis loco 23, Amfleet 82580, Salisbury Beach, Overland Trail, Silver Splendor and the Tioga Pass.
Everyone involved with the trip did a great job IMHO.
Full disclosure: I am one of the PRS Directors.
FYI.
