In the seventies, Paul Mason had a huge warehouse facility located in San Jose in which three railroad tracks went into a building several cars deep and forklifts loaded pallets of cases of all of their wines both "value priced" and house reserve brands on docks that were at car side door level. Point is that wine and spirits have been and still are shipped by rail. Will this be a volume item for NWP? I don't know. Will anything be a volume item for NWP? I don't know. But all kinds of booze moves on steel wheels all the time in this country.
