Still have a question about tunnel clearance for double-stacks over Donner Pass. The older #1 track has fewer tunnels than the newer #2 track. In all places where the #1 track has not been removed, Is it the one where tunnel clearance has been raised? Obviously, in places where the #1 track has been removed, the tunnels of the #2 track must have increased vertical clearance.
