A while ago, some gas stations here in the Inland Northwest took great pride in posting the sources of their product if those sources were anywhere other than the Middle East. British North Sea was one. But the fact is a great deal of our gasoline here in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area comes from refineries in Billings, MT, and is delivered to a local storage/distribution center via MRL's Gas Local and the Yellowstone Pipeline. (Question: does what comes out of those Billings refineries derive from local crude sources, or what?) I've read that ALL of the aviation fuel for Fairchild AFB (how about Spokane International?) comes from Billings via MRL (Missoula-Thompson Falls)and Yellowstone Pipeline.
