Don't forget the San Bernardino Depot and Museum, a nice place to see BNSF operations, including Metrolink. Right off of the I-215 that, then parallels the grade into the pass.

A classy dinner and night out at TRAC's Restaurant, at LA Union Station, via a ride on Metrolink, might do wonders for any poor suffering wife of a railfan?
