Monte Vista ... do you remember the Blackberry Farm picnic park along a small perennial creek (or was it lower Stevens Creek?). For some reason that was where our SF church groups always had their parish picnic. Way west end of Stevens Creek Blvd. I seem to recall going through Los Altos to get there (we went the back way) and bumping across some old tracks a couple of times before they were ripped out and the road widened.
