I agree. This issue was a huge disappointment.
Movies like "Matewan", "Slumdog Millionair" and "Wendy & Lucy", while good movies, do not have sufficient rail content to warrant being included.
Meanwhile, other movies such as "Next Stop Wonderland" (set on Boston's Blue Line), "Metroland" (centers around a British enthusiast who is writing about metro rail systems) , "Switchback" (great scenes filmed on the Rio Grande), "the Navigators" (about British railway workers facing the prospect of privatization) and "Color of a Brisk and Leaping Day" (based on the last days of the Yosemite Valley RR) which have far more rail content were ignored. Even "Risky Business" which had a great sequence of Chicago L shots would have been far more deserving of being included in this issue than many other movies which made it to the top 100.
