Agree. The two other train scenes in that film - when Dennis Weaver takes a nap in his car by the tracks while hiding from the truck driver, then we see a fuzzy image of something big and powerful coming up behind his car as he naps......
Then the scene where the truck is chasing the car on the highway parallel to the tracks, they both pass an SP freight, and as the truck speeds past the lead locomotive there is the exchange of horn blasts between the truck and the locomotive! Hmmmm.....were the engineer and truck driver in cahoots?

BTW - Where did "Silver Streak" with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder end up on the list?
