Speaking of the old Arcadia station. I remember being told as a young boy (I grew up in Temple City, right next to Arcadia) that Lucky Baldwin, when he sold the right of way to the Santa Fe, had an agreement writtian into the deed with the railroad that they would stop to pick him up at his private station(?). Also that up to the time the 210 FWy was built, the suceeding property oweners also had the same right though they had to buy the ticket somewhere else and give the Santa Fe advance notice.
Not sure if this was true but it sounded good to me as a boy!
