I should mention that before the economic downturn there was regular inbound Lumber loads to Mantanuca(sp) and Tecate for building houses. The Trolley (MTDB) owns the tracks Campo to the Plaster City connection with UP. CZRY was operating this also. CZRY operates the Mexican portion (T&T) because no qualified Mexican company had steped forward. CZRY management (and some politicions) may have had dreams of the old SD&AE being part of the Punta Colonet Port project trackage but reality has dashed those hopes for now.
