I've always been late to the party. For many years in the past, I've been aware of these timetables but as a hunt and peck, the days rail journey becomes an adventure of sorts, I never bought one. Idiot. My first was, Calif. Reg. TT18. Wow! Did that open up a whole new world! Sure wish I took more notice from the beginning! Thing is. It still serves me well and will continue in the future. Maybe, one every five years would suit. I do know from general observation that the railfan network is a niche and dwindling at that and tough economics is taking out many long standing business large and small. All with some degree of sadness. It is always a tough decission. I do understand here. There is alot of information packed in these timetables, great graphics and time involved. But if the business can't get out of the yard, what is the point.
Thank you, Mr. Curlee for stepping in, to carry on tradition, but sometimes tradition doesn't pay the bills. But who knows what the future will bring.
