The question is about the future of freight traffic on the former SP Coast Line in California USA
(Oakland to Los Angeles).

The "NUMMI" automobile plant is located in Fremont, CA (southern SF Bay Area in California USA).
My understading is that the large NUMMI plant is scheduled to CLOSE for good at the end of March 2010.
That is , what, about, ONE WEEK from now.
