As stated above, there will be no California No. 21 this year. David stated and I agree that 2010 has seen very few changes to timetables in California and with the stock of No. 20 still on hand, it just didn't make since to make another edition.

Secondly and more importantly, the fate of Altamont Press is still unknown, David feels he is unable to commit the massive time needed to continue operating AP is it currently is. I and most everybody else support David's decision to end AP operations this fall once the latest and possibly last AP timetable (Central West No. 1) is done. Imagine working full time and then coming home to work another full time job with AP...I am surprised he has accomplished as much as he did.

I personally hope that in 2011 or 2012 a California No. 21 can be done, but it will require the help and resources of EVERYBODY to accomplish. Beyond California, I believe we have seen the last of a valuable resources, but were railfans and we will survive.
