Gyralight rationale: Rio Grande vs. SP
I was looking at my seemingly ancient tape of the Rio Grande last night when old Pasadena put out good entertainment. I do have a question though. Why is it many of the Rio Grande engineers chose to lock their gyralight into place? And of course on the SP, the engineers chose to use the rotation as a warning signal. So what gives on the Rio Grande?
It was also just fun to watch the other kind of tunnel motors last night. It all feels like a distant memory of what was normal.
