Been there - Done that !!! Being a native of SoCal and a railfan from an early age, I've been stuck in the sand more times than Lawrence of Arabia !!! A few notable occasions include with my dad's motorhome, with a friend driving, on the road to Afton Cyn., then with my pickup IN Afton Cyn. Also UNDER the Santa Fe mainline West of Ludlow while chasing the Parker Peavine PRS Special.
