Different line.

The Sprinter uses the ex-Santa Fe Escondido District. The junction with the main line is south of the Oceanside depot area. You can kinda tell by looking at this map: [www.gonctd.com] It used to be called Escondido Junction; not sure about nowadays.

The portion of what was the original California Southern main line became Santa Fe's Fallbrook District, and left the main line north of Oceanside at Fallbrook Junction. Not sure if it's still referred to as such; probably not, as the branch was abandoned around 1981 except for some track used to access Camp Pendleton.
