Thank you gentlemen for all of the info purtaining to the Cal Southern, I really appreciate it. The ex Santa Fe line to Fallbrook - Camp Pendleton portion was washed out during the 92-93 El Nino season. I was on Deployment at the time but as I understand it a 12 foot high wall of water - mud and debris not only took out the railroad but a huge portion of the Marine airfield as well. The portion that ran through the Naval Weapons Station was given up to the scrappers in the mid-90's. The only portions that remain are at the junction with the BNSF and a small section in the middle of Camp Pendleton (not affected by the flood). Again, thank you for all of the information
