Thanks to all that responded to the previous thread.

So the SP electrics using the track-side upper level took intercity passengers to the mole for ferries (and for a couple of years over the new Bay Bridge) to San Francisco? Where else did the cars from the upper level go? Obviously I need more help understanding this. Thanks.
