That's a great shot. Logging 2-8-0's were rare in the West, and yet the number 2 remained in service right to the end of that Flagstaff logging railroad in 1966. The little mallet was replaced by a diesel in 1959. I have not seen many photos of the Baldwin diesel in service.

I think the name of Southwest Lumber Mills was changed to Southwest Forest Products in the early 1960's.
