Years ago when TV Guide did a Star Trek special issue and James Doohan (Scotty) came up to the depot in Snoqualmie. James posed in the cab of our Alco RSD-4 #201. He was a really nice guy and while everyone else was asking about Star Trek we talked about the cab ride he had in Canada before shipping over seas in World War 2. He was in a Canadian artillery unit and was wounded a few days after D-day. Was funny not hearing his fake Scottish accent.
