The Isotopes are the Albuquerque minor-league team. Raley Field in West Sacramento (the minor-league "Rivercats") sits next to the UP (ex-Sacramento Northern) yard. Back in the '70s, I used to go to a drive-in between Santa Rosa and Rhonert Park; during a double-feature, you could see as many as three trains go by on the NWP (oh God, I said "NWP!"). I also remember a drive-in on the south side of Sacramento, right next to the WP main line. Race-track wise, you can somewhat see the UP Martinez Sub. main from the grandstand at Golden Gate Fields in Albany.
