My first "chase"

1936, Summer. Eastbound across Nebraska on US 30, on my knees, watching the action on the Union Pacific main. Dad had become rather successful in Seattle pediatrics and decided to attend the tenth anniversary of his graduation from medical school. "Little brother" was "farmed out" in Bothell.

To this day, I credit my parents for my affliction.
