REHeadline: Amtrak engineers take train controls for Metrolink

The first line of the article states "Amtrak conductors were at the controls of Southern California's Metrolink commuter trains Saturday..." What are the engineers doing? The writer uses conductor and engineer interchangeably and probably has no idea of which is which. The story is attributed to Associated Press. They should be ashamed of themselves for such repeated mistakes in this story. MercuryNews.com couldn't question it either.
