I am always impressed that the folks on the right that whine about the left trampling on their Freedom (to what, be abused by health insurance companies?) are the ones most eager to defend actual abuses of police authority. They embrace nearly every proposal to sacrifice our liberty for some phony security theater, or to harass minorities.

I might be a bit more sympathetic to the tea partiers' complaints if Obama's stormtroopers had taken their guns and marched them off to concentration camps, but this seems to be complete fantasy concocted by the corporate-backed Republicans to stoke their fears and separate them from their donation money. Anyone lose their guns yet?

It is a much healthier form of love that allows one to see that things can be better, than to blindly boast that America can do no wrong.
