Rich - You're right, the 19 seems to be running well so far. Eight loads was a bit much for her. Due to wet rails things got a little slippery, so it was time to double the hill coming up from the Shasta River. Our entrance into Montague was punctuated by 19 barking like a big mean dog! The entire event was amazingly surreal.

It's amazing to think that in 2007 one can still stumble onto a steam powered revenue freight (and not one helicopter in sight...)

Bill, thanks for the reply. I was out pretending to work today. It was great seeing you and Karla, and I hope to see you again soon. You looked right at home in the cab!
