PLA being removed from the Niles Canyon trackage is probably inevitable, but like you say not too soon. This cloud has been hanging over their heads for quite a while now. I believe they control the Brightside Yard area, so it's not like they would have to get everything out of the canyon on short notice. I also believe that they are on good enough terms with the Portola boys that they could arrange for a hospital move if they really had to, but to where?
