Travis AFB Railway

I noticed the rail line to Travis AFB has been cut back to Walters road outside of the airbase. Does anyone know the history of this rail operation and when the last movement on it was. I remember seeing a yellow 44 ton diesel? many years ago (40 or more?) on the airbase. Thanks
