14 year Anniversary of SP Merger with UP 9-11-96

Well, today, September 11th is the 14 Anniversary of the day UP took over/merged with SP. To celebrate, I am here in Clinton Iowa (I didn't pick it, I am in town on company business) as I write this, next to the UP Geneva Sub. (even though this area has nothing to do with the old SP), watching and photographing trains all day. My goal is to spot old cars in SP Paint that aren't graffittied, and also on the lookout for any ex-SP unit in old SP paint, wether it be "patched" or not. I am informed that there was an ex-SP GE in old SP pain that is UP Patched, but it apprears to have left town durring the night.
So, what are you doing to celebrate this 14 year anniversary? I'd enjoy hearing your story. Being a Saturday, I am sure there are fans out on Beaumont, Cajon, or Tehachapi, enjoying the action, not to mention Donner and others.
