Well, a bunch of us old SPer's and some adopted friends are at Tahoe at our annual reunion and slide show orgy. Lots of good wine, ribs, chicken. Absolutely perfect weather for a beach party. Then after dark it's amazing some of the slides that come out of the dusty shoe boxes....a highrail trip to Tiburon circa 1965, the SP Super Bowl special from Reno the year the game was at Stanford, pictures from the 50's of the California Street cable car line when it went beyond Van Ness and terminated in front of the Fosters cafeteria across from "65". Lots of nostalgia. So today a bunch of us will go ride the V&T.
