It seem to me, that trying to preserve a 130 year old industrial building, with few modern upgrades or seismic protection, located in the middle of a working railroad yard, would be a tough task for the best of organizations. I'm quite surprised the building hadn't already succumbed to ' Railroad Lightning ', like so many depots have.
