It's intriguing to consider the diversity of equipment that Portland Traction operated in its final years as an interurban:
In addition to the former IRR and Key System cars already discussed, the PTC also had several former Pacific Electric "Hollywood" cars and several former "Broadway" (Brill Master Unit) cars from the city's streetcar system. The streetcars had been regauged from 42" to standard gauge to run on the Oregon City and Cazadero (Gresham/Boring) lines.
One of the former "Broadway" cars, #813, is owned by the Oregon Electric Railway Historical Society and operates today on the Willamette Shore Trolley between SW Portland and Lake Oswego on the former SP Jefferson Street branch. This same branch was part of the "Red Electric" interurban network from 1915 to 1929.
